Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition Family Support Center
BACKGROUND
The Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition strives to create permanency in foster children’s lives by recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families in the metropolitan St. Louis region.
Their partnerships and groundbreaking programs make the Coalition the region’s most successful recruiter of Foster and Adoptive Families.
OBJECTIVE
Our goal was to select comfortable and child-friendly furniture to encourage children’s play time with families in a non-threatening environment, and provide multi-functional collaboration spaces for meetings.
We used durable fabrics and bright colors for visual stimulation. We added “fun to tumble over” seating for the children’s area and comfy lounge furniture for the Therapy Room. Flip-Top training tables were added in the conference rooms for easy re-configuration. We introduced bright colored stack-able seating and movable tables in the Break Room which offered a fun place to have a light snack or a quick re-configuration for a cooking lesson.

RESULTS
Working with their corporate colors of bright Orange and Shamrock Green made the project fun and a bit out of the ordinary. I loved working with all the Green lateral files and Orange walls.
The space turned out really nice and very functional and on an affordable budget
To complete the project our team used: Storlie for the lounge furniture, stack chairs, occasional tables and flip-nest seating. The conference table was Global “Kayden”. The glass wall was Trendway “Choices” 80 inch panels, and the training tables were Express Office Furniture
