Cleaning & Maintenance
With regular care and maintenance, your product will continue to provide years of superior performance and satisfaction. Please follow the finish cleaning recommendations listed below.
UPHOLSTERY-VINYL ALTERNATIVES
Clean monthly with a clean, soft, colorfast, damp, soapy cloth or sponge and rinse with clean water. Remove fluids immediately by blotting with a clean, colorfast, absorbent cloth. Flush stain with water and dry with clean cloth. Residue left by cleaning agents will degrade and shorten the life and/or affect the product’s appearance if not removed.
HPL LAMINATE
Use a solution of warm water and mild, non-abrasive soap. No abrasive cleaners, acids or alkali should be used as they will damage the decorative surface. Stubborn stains may be removed with a two minute exposure to 5:1 water to bleach solution, followed by a clean water rinse. Protective gloves are recommended.
TFL LAMINATE
Routinely clean surfaces with a damp cloth or sponge, and a mild soap or detergent. Stubborn stains, such as coffee, can be removed with a household cleaner and soft bristled brush. If the mark persists, use a baking soda and water paste with a soft bristled brush. Undiluted bleach or nail polish remover can be used if the above steps do not remove the mark, but should sit no more than two minutes to avoid damaging the surface. Surfaces can be disinfected with a 10% bleach/90% water solution. Apply the solution and wipe surface dry. Deep textures may require more drying to ensure the solution is wiped away.
PANEL VINYL – SOLID COLORS + WOODGRAINS
Clean with a mild, non-abrasive soap or detergent dissolved in warm water. Most stubborn surface stains can be removed by using isopropyl alcohol or a 5:1 solution of water and household bleach. Rinse with clean water after washing. Protective gloves are recommended. Pretest a small inconspicuous area before proceeding.
PANEL FABRIC
Clean with water based cleaning agents, foam or pure, water free solvents. Vacuuming or light brushing is recommended to prevent dust and soil buildup. Do not saturate with liquids. Cleanable with a 10:1 water:bleach solution. All cleaning should allow for a 10-minute maximum sit time and then MUST BE PROMPTLY AND PROPERLY RINSED.
