A letter from our President.

A letter from our President.
David Singer

As of September 18th, 2018 Warehouse of Fixtures has merged with Facility Services Group.  Our combined firm will keep the Warehouse of Fixtures name.  Both of our firms have a tradition of excellence in supplying clients with new, used and refurbished office furniture.  In addition, to adding several highly talented and experienced sales and installation staff to our Warehouse of Fixtures team we believe that this will give our existing clients some major advantages.

The acquisition gives us full re-upholstery services.  From lounge chairs to hospital recliners, we can re-upholster your furniture.

Warehouse of Fixtures also now has a permanent presence in Kansas City.  Although this location will be branded as Office Furniture Kansas City, it will offer the same high level of service offered in St. Louis.  This regional expansion will further our mission of offering the highest level of service to our clients nationally at a reasonable price.

By increasing our sales volume we are increasing our leverage with our vendors to negotiate even better pricing and we plan to pass those savings on to our clients.

Otherwise, your experience with Warehouse of Fixtures should remain the same.  Same great people, same great products, same great service.

We truly appreciate your business.

Press Release from the St. Louis Business Journal.

Warehouse of Fixtures (WOF), a seller of new and pre-owned office furniture in St. Louis, has acquired Facility Services Group (FSG), which has a presence in St. Louis and Kansas City. The acquisition will allow WOF to expand to the Kansas City market.

“We have been looking at regional expansion for a while,” Dave Singer, CEO and majority owner of WOF, said. “They do some great work, and by combining, we are able to make a better company for our employees and our clients.”

Singer declined to share terms of the deal, but stated that the company expects to add at least $4 million in annual sales with the acquisition. Currently, WOF has $9 million in annual sales, Singer said. The deal closed Monday.

WOF, which has a warehouse located at 2720 Market St., plans to consolidate FSG’s 90,000-square-foot storage and production facility to its Refurbiture facility at 5642 Natural Bridge Ave. Refurbiture is a sister company of WOF, Singer said. FSG also has a showroom and office located in Hazelwood that won’t be needed moving forward.

FSG’s 5,000-square-foot office and showroom in Kansas City will remain open, but rebranded as Office Furniture Kansas City. Singer plans to expand the space at a later date once the company “gains a stronger foothold in the Kansas City market.”

“With an expanded product offering for both the legacy FSG sales force and the existing WOF sales force, we would expect a 10 percent increase for both companies,” Singer said. “However, we also feel there is a tremendous opportunity for the sales people coming from FSG to increase their sales with the additional support of our scheduling, design, customer service and accounts receivable departments.”

The sales team from FSG and the company’s previous owners, David and Nick Livingston, will join the WOF staff, bringing the company’s total employee count to 40, Singer said.

The office furniture industry in the U.S. is expected to grow annually at a rate of 0.2 percent from 2018 to 2021, according to Statista. The industry had revenue of $46 billion in 2017 and is expected to grow to $46.2 billion in 2018, the data said.
